About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Apetito Limited. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base in County Durham and parts of North Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a local marketing programme to increase brand awareness and drive sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Healthcare Professionals, local community groups, and sheltered housing associations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through key influencers and networking
  • Plan and execute tasting demonstrations to promote the benefits of our food and increase brand awareness
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other depots and Head Office to develop and field test new initiatives
  • Develop relationships with Business Development Managers from other depots to share best practice
  • Undertake administrative tasks in line with business systems
Requirements
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers or developing a portfolio of clients
  • Natural ability to influence and persuade
  • Experience of making outbound calls
  • GCSE English and Math's (or equivalent)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Time management, planning, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full, clean driving licence and own transport
Desirable Qualifications
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Knowledge or experience of marketing
  • Knowledge of Dynamics Navision
  • Experience within a care-based role or the healthcare sector
  • Vocational sales and marketing qualification
