About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth and developing relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a local marketing programme to drive business growth and increase brand awareness
  • Build relationships and network with healthcare professionals, local community groups, and sheltered housing associations
  • Develop new business through key influencers and create relationships where they unequivocally recommend Wiltshire Farm Foods
  • Plan and carry out tasting demonstrations to promote the benefits of our food and increase overall brand awareness
  • Work closely with colleagues from other in-house depots and Head Office team to develop and field test new initiatives
  • Develop relationships with Business Development Managers from other depots to ensure sharing of best practice
  • Undertake relevant administrative tasks in line with business systems
Requirements
  • In-person sales experience
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers or developing a portfolio of clients
  • Natural ability to influence and persuade
  • Experience of making outbound calls
  • GCSE English and Math's (or equivalent)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Time management, planning, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full, clean driving licence and own transport
Desirable
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Knowledge or experience of marketing
  • Knowledge of Dynamics Navision
  • Experience within a care-based role or the healthcare sector
