We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Apetito. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement local marketing programs to promote our products and services
- Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, such as healthcare professionals, community groups, and sheltered housing associations
- Develop new business through these key influencers, creating relationships where they unequivocally recommend Apetito
- Plan and carry out tasting demonstrations to promote the benefits of our food and increase overall brand awareness
- Work closely with colleagues from other in-house depots and Head Office team to develop and field test new initiatives
- Develop relationships with Business Development Managers from other depots to ensure sharing of best practice
- Undertake relevant administrative tasks in line with business systems
We are looking for a candidate with:
- In-person sales experience
- A proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers or developing a portfolio of clients
- A natural ability to influence and persuade
- Experience of making outbound calls
- GCSE English and Math's (or equivalent)
- Strong presentation skills
- Time management, planning and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A full, clean driving licence and own transport
