About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team at Apetito Limited. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement local marketing programmes to increase brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with Healthcare Professionals, local community groups, and sheltered housing associations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through key influencers and partnerships
  • Deliver tasting demonstrations to promote the benefits of our food and increase brand awareness
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other depots and Head Office to develop and field test new initiatives
  • Develop relationships with Business Development Managers from other depots to share best practices
  • Undertake relevant administrative tasks in line with business systems

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to influence and persuade.

Essential Requirements

  • In-person sales experience
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers or developing a portfolio of clients
  • A natural ability to influence and persuade
  • Experience of making outbound calls
  • GCSE English and Math's (or equivalent)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Time management, planning and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full, clean driving licence and own transport

Desirable Requirements

  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Knowledge or experience of marketing
  • Knowledge of Dynamics Navision
  • Experience within a care-based role or the healthcare sector
  • Vocational sales/marketing qualification
