About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Early Years SEN Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. In this full-time permanent role, you will work closely with students, fostering growth, confidence, and a love for learning tailored to each child's developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality education to young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our welcoming SEN school in Hackney.
- Design and implement customized lesson plans that cater to the unique developmental needs of each child.
- Collaborate closely with a team of SEN support staff and therapists to create cohesive individualized learning plans.
- Foster a warm and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, resilience, and confidence.
- Engage in specialized training and professional development opportunities focused on Early Years SEN practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in Early Years education; SEN experience is highly desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and creativity in lesson planning, enabling you to design engaging and adaptable activities that meet a range of developmental abilities and learning styles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with support staff, parents, and SEN professionals, building a network of support for each child's growth.
- A collaborative approach and dedication to inclusive education, with a commitment to fostering a positive supportive environment for young learners.
- A current clear Enhanced DBS check is required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
