Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years SEN Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences for young children with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in early years education, particularly in a special educational needs setting. A creative and patient approach to teaching is essential, along with strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with SEN staff, support professionals, and parents.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the early development of children in a supportive and structured environment. The salary for this position is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement creative play-based activities that cater to the unique developmental needs of each child.
  • Collaborate closely with a supportive team of SEN professionals to deliver personalized learning experiences.
  • Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment where children feel valued and respected.
  • Engage in ongoing assessment and observation of student progress to adapt teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest SEN best practices.
