About the Role
  • This full-time permanent position involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary SEN team to develop individualized learning plans and foster holistic development.
  • You will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to explore their interests and abilities through structured and creative activities.
  • Ongoing assessment and adaptation of lesson plans will be essential to support each child's growth and address new developmental goals.
  • Continuous professional development will be encouraged, focusing on best practices in SEN and early years education to enhance your skills and knowledge.

 

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in Early Years education; background in SEN or exposure to SEN settings is advantageous.
  • A patient and creative approach to working with young children, with the ability to connect and engage them through play-based and interactive methods.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively with SEN professionals, parents, and caregivers to provide a comprehensive support system for each child.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and a dedication to fostering an environment where all students can explore, grow, and achieve foundational skills at their own pace.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required to ensure the safety and security of all students.

 

Salary and Benefits
