The Role:
This field-based position offers a unique blend of account management and new business development, with a focus on selling concrete and admixtures to contractors and end-users. As a Senior Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, developing and maintaining existing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targeted revenue growth
- Maintain and expand existing customer base through exceptional customer service and relationship-building
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging industry connections and market knowledge
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of sales initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the heavy side or merchants' sales sector
A strong track record of managing territories, accounts, and winning new business
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a talent for identifying opportunities and delivering results
Confidence and ability to engage effectively with contractors on site
A deep understanding of the construction industry and its dynamics
