Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Training Officer to join our team in Childcare, Lewis. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for education and training to make a real difference in the lives of children.

Salary: £22,774-£24,679 per annum (inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance)

About the Role

The Training Officer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs that meet the needs of our clients. This includes planning, organizing, and executing training sessions, as well as evaluating their effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver training programs that align with our organization's goals and objectives
  • To work closely with trainers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure that training programs are relevant and effective
  • To conduct needs assessments and analyze data to inform training program development
  • To design and deliver training sessions that are engaging, interactive, and meet the needs of learners
  • To evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field (e.g., education, training, child care)
  • At least two years' experience in a training or educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
