Salary Range

The salary for this role is between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

As a Development Officer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Gathering information from various sources to inform project decisions;
  2. Project managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget;
  3. Producing detailed plans and reports, including project progress updates and financial assessments;
  4. Delivering a Clerk of Works service to our clients, ensuring that construction work is carried out to the highest standards;
  5. Assisting with project development, including business planning and funding applications.

You will also be required to visit building sites to monitor progress, ensure health and safety measures are in place, and attend regular project meetings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or project management;
  • Extensive experience in project management, preferably in the housing development sector;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
