Highway Maintenance Trainee

Breedon Group plc is a leading vertically-integrated construction materials group in Great Britain and Ireland. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Highway Maintenance Trainee to join our team. As a key member of our highway maintenance crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our road surfacing services.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £26,500 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Highway Maintenance Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting our teams in the surfacing, resurfacing, and improvement of roads and highways. This will involve removing old surfaces, preparing new surfaces, conducting inspections, and testing new surfaces. You will also learn how to operate a range of specialist plant machinery, including rollers and spreaders.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong interest in working outdoors and a willingness to work as part of a team. A CSCS card and driving license would be preferred, but full training will be provided. You must be a minimum age of 18.
