We are seeking an experienced Magnetics Engineer to join our R&D department, where you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to designing and manufacturing MRI superconducting magnets. You will be responsible for leading cutting-edge technology development and collaborating with external commercial and academic institutions to leverage your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse complex engineering problems from technical and commercial viewpoints to deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Establish and manage programmes with external partners to utilise a comprehensive range of expertise.
  • Apply a flexible and creative approach to a variety of engineering technologies, including electromagnetic field theory and calculation, magnetic field measurement, materials, and their magnetic properties.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Physics or Engineering or equivalent background.
  • Broad spectrum of engineering experience and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of analytical and FEA methods.

$85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer excellent benefits, including 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays, annual bonus, BUPA, up to 10% employer pension contribution, onsite gym, subsidized restaurant, share scheme, and free onsite parking.
