Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work as part of our integrated, multi-disciplinary therapy team, providing specialist occupational therapy services to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people with a wide range of occupational performance difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and families/carers to implement occupational therapy strategies and approaches.
- Assess, diagnose, and implement appropriate management plans for children with complex needs.
- Prescribe specialist equipment to support occupational engagement and participation.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, families, and carers.
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who:
- Has a recognised Occupational Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
- Is registered with the Health Care Professions Council and has a Licence to Practice.
- Has experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Is able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
