Job Summary

The successful candidate will work as part of our integrated, multi-disciplinary therapy team, providing specialist occupational therapy services to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people with a wide range of occupational performance difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and families/carers to implement occupational therapy strategies and approaches.
  • Assess, diagnose, and implement appropriate management plans for children with complex needs.
  • Prescribe specialist equipment to support occupational engagement and participation.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, families, and carers.
Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who:

  • Has a recognised Occupational Therapy degree qualification or equivalent.
  • Is registered with the Health Care Professions Council and has a Licence to Practice.
  • Has experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Is able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
