Occupational Therapist for Children and Young People

Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and innovative Integrated Therapy Team. The successful candidate will work closely with Barnet Education's Specialist Inclusion Service to train and support the implementation of Occupational Therapy advice and strategies into mainstream schools.
Main Responsibilities:- Assess young people in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with a range of functional needs and provide advice for them, their families, and the staff working with them.
- Provide targeted training and support for staff working in mainstream primary and secondary schools.
- Develop new training offers to schools to meet the sensory and motor-based needs of their pupils.
- Support children with complex profiles in mainstream reception classes.
