About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Youth Justice Specialist to join our multi-disciplinary team, delivering child-first support to vulnerable children and young people who come into contact with the youth justice system.

As a key member of our team, you will work with young people aged 10-17 who are subject to youth justice interventions and sentences on statutory court orders or out-of-court diversions. Your expertise will be invaluable in supervising children and young people, working with their families using systemic approaches, collaborating with partner agencies to deliver services, and carrying out accurate, effective assessments.

We are looking for someone with experience in a multi-disciplinary youth offending team, including delivering youth justice aims, carrying out youth justice work, and dealing with relevant legislation and regulations. You should be well-organised, an excellent communicator, and adept at building a wide range of partnerships.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a recognised and relevant qualification in social work or probation, and experience in a multi-disciplinary youth offending team. You should be open to practice in a relational, systemic, and trauma-informed approach.
