About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse (NMC Registered) or Social Worker (SWE Registered) to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in Eastbourne.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in CAMHS or similar settings, with excellent communication, assessment, and care coordination skills.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of £26 (umbrella) and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people with mental health needs, providing support and coordinating care according to the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
  • Undertake assessments, risk management, and develop care plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and collaborate with families/carers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Professional Registration: Valid NMC (for CPN) or SWE (for Social Worker) registration.
  • Experience: Proven experience working within CAMHS or similar settings.
  • Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.
