Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Project Director in our Real Estate team in Edinburgh. We offer a competitive salary package, which includes a base salary of £65,000 per annum.



About the Role


  • As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading projects of varying scale and value, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within time and cost targets.
  • You will act as the key client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to the appropriate quality standards.
  • You will lead the establishment of project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • You will plan for and manage quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
  • You will establish effective project governance processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
  • You will advise on procurement strategies and resources.
  • You will lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
  • You will monitor and apply performance management techniques, using KPIs to improve project performance.
  • You will manage change control processes.
  • You will advise on project finances and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • You will communicate effectively with stakeholders, through regular meetings and written updates.
  • You will take a leading role in interfacing with clients and other consultants at all stages of the project.


Marketing and Business Development


  • You will develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • You will identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities.
  • You will collaborate with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
  • You will attend formal client pitches.
  • You will maintain up-to-date project case studies, photographs, and project CV files.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve project management products and services.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing real estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
