Business Development Executive Role at Thomson Reuters
This is a full-time position based in London with hybrid working available.
We're looking for a Business Development Executive to join Reuters Events, a fast-growing conferencing and events business within Thomson Reuters.
Reuters Events deliver world-class conferences and content-led events across the globe. We work with industry leaders and visionaries to provide the critical intelligence that their senior-level executives need to navigate change and make strategic decisions.
Reuters Events combines Reuters' globally trusted brand, scale, and editorial excellence with an exciting portfolio of B2B events. We provide content-led conferences for professionals in a variety of specialized industry sectors, including energy, pharmaceutical, automotive, insurance, finance, and legal.
About the Role
- Work collaboratively with other executives in your specific industry sector to sell tailored sponsorship packages to a variety of global brands.
- Be consultative with your clients, offering the most appropriate solutions to suit their sponsorship needs.
- Enjoy learning about new markets and staying up to date with industry trends.
- Work closely and collaborate with our Conference Production team to establish the best audiences and maximize the success of our conferences and events.
About You
- Excellent communication skills. We're looking for someone who's comfortable representing the Reuters brand when engaging with other industry-leading businesses.
- Demonstrable B2B sales and new business development experience.
- A collaborative attitude. We're team players at Reuters Events and are looking for someone who can succeed both individually and within a team-based environment.
- The desire to progress and develop your skills further.
- The ability to adapt to changes in markets and articulate potential solutions to a range of stakeholders over the phone, in person, and on video calls.
