Product Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our data ingestion platform. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering market-leading products where data is the key component.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data pipelines and machine learning models, and be able to articulate product principles and tradeoffs that help engineers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists make rapid decisions with confidence.

The role will involve owning the roadmap, product strategy, and vision for our data ingestion platform, leading a team of Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists, and ensuring the team delivers customer outcomes in an agile manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full product lifecycle from strategy/vision, through to sprint planning and delivery, and will work closely with the wider product team and stakeholders to align on product releases and cross-team priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap, product strategy, and vision for our data ingestion platform.
  • Lead a team of Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists.
  • Ensure the team delivers customer outcomes in an agile manner.
  • Set the key metrics to track progress of the team towards the product vision.
  • Work closely with the wider product team and stakeholders to align on product releases and cross-team priorities.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in delivering market-leading products where data is the product or a significant component of the product.
  • Fluency and strong instincts for dealing with data pipelines and machine learning models.
  • Empathy with customers in a B2B context.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication of complex topics to a wide audience.
