Astellas Pharma seeks a dedicated Ophthalmology Scientific Liaison Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a trusted advisor, you will facilitate scientific exchange with Key External Experts and stakeholders throughout the product life cycle.

In this role, you will gather field data to generate medical insights, collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders within and outside of Medical Affairs (MA). You will execute tactical field plans to engage the medical/scientific community for the product, ensuring safe and effective use of Astellas products.

As a Scientific Liaison, you will participate in scientific exchange where knowledge about product(s), disease(s), and therapeutic areas is shared. You will demonstrate excellent scientific and clinical knowledge, as well as a deep understanding of stakeholder needs, in one-on-one interactions and group settings.

To excel in this position, you must maintain up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge to enable peer-to-peer scientific exchange. An extensive understanding and experience in scientific exchange best practices and medical insight generation are required.

This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 80% business travel nationwide in the UK. A Master's degree in health-related Sciences or equivalent is necessary for success.
