Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Building Manager with day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth running of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Building Manager with the management of onsite personnel and ensure adherence to health and safety, environmental, and company procedures.
  • Manage the service charge budget and expenditure for the site(s) in conjunction with the Building Manager and Senior Facilities Manager.
  • Conduct regular inspection audits of the site(s) and take remedial action as required.
  • Liaise with local authorities and manage major work programmes in conjunction with the Building Manager and specialist consultants.
  • Assist the Building Manager with the compilation of external contracts and oversee the work carried out by contractors.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within a facilities environment in a supervisory or management role.
  • Knowledge of the technical aspects of premises management.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a pressurised environment.
