Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Joint Emergency Team as a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist assessments and interventions to clients referred to the team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct specialist assessments with the multidisciplinary team to identify client needs and develop effective care plans.
- Provide advanced specialist occupational therapy input to clients, including those on the virtual ward, to promote independence and safety.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of care and effective management of clinical risk.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date clinical written records and electronic databases in accordance with local and professional standards.
- Provide specialist advice and education to clients, carers, and relatives based on clinical evidence and identified needs.

Requirements- Recognised Occupational Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
- UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration.
- Minimum of 6 years post-registration experience.
- Evidence of recent Continuing Professional and Personal Development.
- Wide range of experience in different settings, including community care.
