Job Overview

The South Tyneside Council is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Attendance, Early Help & Family Liaison Officer. This role involves working closely with parents/carers and other agencies to provide support for children and families dealing with various pastoral issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting children and families with attendance and inclusion issues
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across the school to promote learning, achievement, and inclusion
  • Working with parents/carers and other agencies to address pastoral concerns
Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants should have experience of working with vulnerable groups, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary of £32,654 per annum (pro rata), Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm, and Friday 8am – 3:30pm hours. Hebburn Comprehensive School and South Tyneside Council prioritize employee well-being and offer a supportive work environment.
