Job Title

Automotive Payroll Specialist
Salary £26,775 + Employee Benefits
Hybrid Working, minimum 2 days in the office.
Fixed Term Contract until August 2025.

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and seamless payroll services for a diverse workforce.

This role involves processing monthly payroll for various franchises within your remit. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with a collaborative approach to working alongside the wider payroll team.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Processing holiday, sick, maternity and paternity leave payments.
  • Preparation of the monthly payroll for approximately 3,600 employees.
  • Recording payroll data accurately in our software system.
  • Assisting with issuing P45s and other necessary tax forms.
  • Ensuring compliance to policies, procedures, and relevant legislation and governing payroll.
Requirements
  • Previous experience with Payroll is essential.
  • Proficient in manual payroll calculations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Must have hands-on, practical approach to tasks.
