About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Utilize the latest tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Uphold all health and safety policies and practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Support the development and progression of onsite apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices across multiple EU sites.
A Day in the Life

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineer, you will work on-site, responding quickly to any machinery issues that arise. Your day will be filled with a range of planned preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring our equipment is working safely and efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to suggest long-term improvements, driving innovation and excellence in your work.

You will work closely with senior colleagues, undertaking day-to-day maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing, and liaising with contractors when necessary. Your flexibility and adaptability will be essential in this role, as you will work on a range of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock.

About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is the backbone of our operations, ensuring our equipment performs at its best. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing the general maintenance of a site, our team handles most aspects of Amazon's technical side.
