Job Title: Occupational Health Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at Loughborough University. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services, including health assessments, screenings, and immunisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational health services to employees, including health assessments and screenings.
  • Support the development and delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Stay up to date with the latest evidence-based practices in occupational health and wellbeing.
  • Offer advice and support on work-related health issues, rehabilitation, and return-to-work programs.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with a qualification in Occupational Health (or working towards one).
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Computer literate and able to effectively use Microsoft office.
  • Strong passion for health promotion and employee wellbeing.
  • Proactive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Keen interest in staying current with new health and wellbeing research and trends.
