About the Role
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Supporting staff with computer and network devices.
- Completing onboarding and offboarding requirements to ensure equipment is provided or reclaimed.
- Understanding of the full MS Office suite, including Teams, SharePoint, and portal administration.
- Working through your own ticket queue to SLA requirements.
Requirements
For this role, you will need a minimum of a Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems Support or equivalent. You should have in-depth knowledge of all Microsoft packages, including SharePoint, Teams Voice, and Portal administration. You will also need demonstrable experience of working in a large organisation supporting IT services, with extensive experience of PC hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
