About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Maritime Civil Engineer to join our team as a Technical Director for Maritime Infrastructure Projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and analysis of maritime structures, from initial concept through to detailed design.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare designs and analyses for maritime structures, ensuring projects meet relevant design codes.
  • Work with various materials such as steel, concrete, and timber.
  • Manage and coach junior staff, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • Select and manage projects that align with your interests, while contributing engineering expertise across all project stages.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Knowledge/experience of working to BIM Level 2.
  • The ability to independently carry out design and analysis work.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills - articulate orally and in writing with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in reinforced concrete design and finite element analysis.
  • A proven track record in innovative design solutions, including shipyard infrastructure, heavy-duty quays, dry docks, floating docks, shiplifts, and retaining wall and piling design experience.
