Senior Director Aero and Maritime Safety Engineering

Job Summary

Viasat is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Aero and Maritime Safety Engineering team. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with industry partners and regulatory bodies.

Key Requirements
  • Technical expertise in telecommunications technologies, IP-based mobile networking technologies, and satellite or mobile communications systems.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams of safety engineering specialists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing deep understanding of regulatory and industry standards for safety communication systems. They will also have knowledge of software development and engineering techniques, data analysis, and IT security practices.

A salary range of $175,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered for this position. Additionally, Viasat offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
