About the Role

DS Smith is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Answering and directing incoming calls, ensuring timely and efficient communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring their presence on-site is recorded accurately, in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including franking and maintaining the franking machine.
  • Coordinating the booking of on-site meeting rooms and ensuring the Reception and kitchen area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Providing administrative support, including basic filing, record keeping, and diary management.
  • Assisting with the setup and clearing of rooms when time allows.
  • Ensuring the office telephone list is up-to-date and maintaining the switchboard.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar corporate, high-profile role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and experienced with telephone systems and diary management.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • A calm manner and the ability to think and react quickly when under pressure.
