About the Role
DS Smith is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Answering and directing incoming calls, ensuring timely and efficient communication with clients and colleagues.
- Welcoming visitors and ensuring their presence on-site is recorded accurately, in line with health and safety requirements.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including franking and maintaining the franking machine.
- Coordinating the booking of on-site meeting rooms and ensuring the Reception and kitchen area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Providing administrative support, including basic filing, record keeping, and diary management.
- Assisting with the setup and clearing of rooms when time allows.
- Ensuring the office telephone list is up-to-date and maintaining the switchboard.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar corporate, high-profile role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and experienced with telephone systems and diary management.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- A calm manner and the ability to think and react quickly when under pressure.
