Project Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to join our Digital Development department on a fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will provide coordination and administrative support for the planning, development, and execution of a feasibility study at the Royal Shakespeare Company, including a new international interdisciplinary fellowship programme for artists, researchers, and cultural leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating communications and acting as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaising with program partners and artist teams, providing operational and logistical support for events, workshops, and potential production periods
  • Providing scheduling and logistical support for Interdisciplinary programming efforts
  • Supporting the operations in-person events, liaising with RSC operational departments to ensure the effective delivery of these workshops
  • Supporting the reporting, evaluation, and management of project outcomes, drafting timely reports to stakeholders and funders
  • Maintaining systems for managing and monitoring project process, spend, and deliverables

Requirements

  • Familiarity with UK-context including logistics and travel, and international travel planning
  • Experience supporting artists or creative workflows
  • Meticulous and rigorous approach to record keeping, data and reporting with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer literacy in MS Office and confidence adapting to project tools such as Airtable, Slack, etc.
  • Ability to work within a charity budget and use funds responsibly
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong organisational skills

Working Arrangements

This role is offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract, with 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. There is flexibility around when the hours are worked, and the position will be based in Stratford-upon-Avon. Occasional evenings and weekends are required.
