Job Description

About the Role:

  • You will lead on designing and developing automated data reporting solutions to provide a holistic overview of Assurance and support strategic decision-making.
  • You will be responsible for analysing large datasets to identify trends, exceptions, and key insights, and present findings in an accessible and actionable format.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement a coordinated data strategy, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout.
  • You will set up reporting processes for Retail Profit Protection & Compliance, including stock management systems and counting processes for annual accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver data reporting and analysis requirements within the Assurance department.
  2. Lead on the design and development of automated data reporting solutions.
  3. Analyse and shape large datasets to identify trends, exceptions, and key insights.
  4. Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout.
  5. Set up reporting processes for Retail Profit Protection & Compliance.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to identify and present trends.
  • Experience building Power BI reports from scratch and working with various systems to execute data extraction, mining, and reporting.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite, including Power BI.
