Payroll and Accounts Administrator

This Payroll and Accounts Administrator role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic construction recruitment agency, utilizing your skills and experience to maintain the smooth operation of our payroll and accounts functions.
Responsibilities- Process customer and supplier invoices using pay and bill software, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
- Manage weekly payroll, handling a range of accounts administration duties, including checking employee timesheets and accurately inputting data into the software.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure employee data is up-to-date, addressing queries related to timesheets, payslips, and other payroll matters.
- Update employee bank details to process payments accurately and enroll workers into the company pension scheme, submitting relevant schedules.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in weekly payroll processing is required, with previous experience in construction payroll (CIS) being advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy, are essential for this role.
- Salary: £25,000 - £28,000, depending on experience, providing a competitive compensation package.
- Holiday Entitlement: 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays), rising to 32 days with length of service, plus additional benefits such as a Christmas shopping day and Christmas shutdown (3 days).
