Job Opportunity

Nigel Wright Group is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join their established HR team. This permanent role will support the team in identifying HR needs and delivering solutions for specific business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the HRBP, wider HR teams, and Senior Leaders to identify HR needs and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and fit for purpose.
  • Develop solutions based on employee feedback and work closely with the Talent team to understand training and recruitment needs.
  • Provide frontline advice to Managers on HR matters, including sickness absence, discipline, grievance, and performance.
  • Be involved in wider projects to support business initiatives related to colleague well-being, ESG, and Inclusion.
  • Support the wider HR team in delivering the HR strategy and identifying personal development opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to determine communication mechanisms to ensure all HR messages are received by colleagues throughout the business.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and management teams to understand support needs and adapt communication methods accordingly.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a driven and enthusiastic HR Advisor with proven experience in ensuring policies are up-to-date, managing sickness/absence, supporting ER cases, and providing HR support to management/leadership teams.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and previous experience working as a HR Advisor or similar, ideally in a multi-location business with travel requirements.

Demonstrable knowledge of employment legislation is essential, and the successful candidate must be proactive in spotting opportunities to support managers on HR matters.
