Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our Fleet department at Durham County Council. This is a temporary position covering a period of maternity leave, lasting for 7 months or until the return of the substantive post holder.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reception duties and deal with enquiries over the telephone, face-to-face, and via email.
- Liaise with workshop personnel and raise jobs on the Fleet Management System for vehicle repairs, tyres, taxi, and MOT testing.
- Monitor fuel stocks and order fuel as required.
- Perform general administration duties.
- Proven experience in administration roles with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of fleet management systems and procedures would be advantageous.
- A competitive salary ranging from £22,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
