We are seeking a Senior Defence Engineer to join our team in Bristol, responsible for developing and proving stealth capabilities for the latest weapon systems.

In this role, you will oversee and undertake work package aspects for radar cross-section (RCS) hardware readiness to support product development and qualification. You will also contribute to RCS performance evidence gathering and interact with wider business areas of the company to jointly deliver against requirements.

Duties will include:

  1. Developing and implementing strategies for radar cross-section reduction.
  2. Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Ensuring that all projects meet deadlines, budgets and quality standards.
  4. Maintaining accurate records and reports of project progress and performance.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Higher Education level in subjects such as Physics, Electromagnetics, Electrical, Mechanical or similar. You will also need project co-ordination/management experience, ideally with some supply chain exposure, as well as an appreciation of electrical and mechanical product construction and interfacing.

This is a permanent position offering a salary range of £55k - £65k DOE plus benefits including bonus, pension, paid overtime, flexi leave and excellent site facilities. Hybrid working is available, typically 3 to 4 days per week on-site.
