Job Title: Senior Radar Systems Engineer - Low Observability Test and Analysis

We are seeking an experienced Senior Radar Systems Engineer to join our team in Bristol. This is a challenging role that involves supporting and undertaking all aspects of radar cross-section (RCS) trials and analysis.

About the Role:

This role is part of our MBDA team, which works closely with related teams to ensure coherence across the project. The successful candidate will have experience within subject fields such as Physics, Electromagnetics, Electrical, or similar, and be able to work to defined deadlines and within budget limits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and undertake all aspects of radar cross-section (RCS) trials and analysis
  • Capture measurement specifications and produce test instructions
  • Participate in fit-for-trial reviews
  • Undertake laboratory radar signature measurements and associated results analysis and performance reporting
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure coherent delivery

Requirements:

  • Higher education or experience within subject fields: Physics, Electromagnetics, Electrical, or similar
  • Experience of instrumentation, measurement, analysis, and reporting
  • Practical hands-on ability to set up hardware in a test environment
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication skills; verbal, presentation, and written
  • Professional manner and adaptability when project needs evolve
