Low-Level Firmware Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Low-Level Firmware Specialist to join our client's software engineering group. The role involves supporting and maintaining downstream, production-quality firmware for CSS-based platform solutions. Responsibilities include defect management, feature backporting, bug fixes, and collaborating with the release team to coordinate downstream updates for customers after the initial launch.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in C programming for embedded systems with strong debugging skills. Experience in developing and maintaining production-quality firmware, solid knowledge of bootloaders and device drivers, and proven experience in defect triaging and defect management for system software are essential. Familiarity with technologies such as RAS, hypervisors, CXL, power management, and security is also required.
