About the Role

Aon is seeking a skilled Strategy Manager to join their Strategic Engagement team in London. This role involves partnering with insurance carrier clients to develop relationships and drive strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor, leading teams to solve complex problems and deliver value to clients.
  • Use analytical skills to simplify complex issues and develop compelling presentations to support client decision-making.
  • Understand and articulate Aon's business strategies and capabilities, helping clients navigate opportunities.
  • Engage in open conversations with clients to understand needs, challenge thinking, and build strategic relationships.
  • Lead in the development of new business opportunities and driving efficient business practices.

About You

  • You have experience in the insurance industry or business development roles in financial services or consulting.
  • You possess proven relationship management skills and can build positive relationships internally and externally.
  • You have experience in commercial insurance, either broking, underwriting, or strategy.
  • You have excellent research and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions at all levels.
  • You are comfortable using sales methodologies, such as the Challenger Sales Model.
  • You have analytical capability, with a focus on attention to detail and the ability to interpret data.
  • You have a consistent record of delivering results and can follow through on actions.
  • You are self-reliant and a self-starter, able to think creatively and resourcefully.
