Year 6 Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated educator for a Year 6 teacher role at a primary school in Southeast England. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Year 6 students, ensuring their academic and personal growth. As a member of a dynamic team of educators, you will be part of a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 6 students.
  • Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 6 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
