About the Role

We are seeking an experienced mental health clinician to join our Mandatory and Essential Skills Training team as a Clinical Skills Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive competency-based training programs for multi-disciplinary staff in a specialist mental health context.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the provision of comprehensive competency-based training programs for multi-disciplinary staff in a specialist mental health context.
  • Design and deliver mandatory training relating to sexual safety and therapeutic observations.
  • Ensure review of implementation and effectiveness of development programs in addressing specific identified learning or clinical needs.
  • Promote meaningful staff engagement in work-based learning opportunities.
  • Support analysis of training needs and quality assurance measures for competency-based blended learning programs.
  • Provide managerial and clinical leadership in the area of responsibility.

Person Specification
  • Educated to degree level with recognized relevant professional qualification in healthcare or social work.
  • Current registration with relevant professional body.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education or similar or willingness to work towards.
