About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic Retail Team at Clarion Events.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving specified sales targets and performance objectives while conducting consultative selling to existing, lapsed, and potential new clients.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets and performance objectives within the sales team by building strong relationships with clients and maximizing revenue.
  • Conduct telephone and face-to-face consultative selling to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective lead generation, call management, and relationship building.
  • Collaborate closely with the show team to maximize sales opportunities and promotions.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar sales role within the exhibitions/events industry.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce/CRM systems for managing pipelines and lead generation.
  • Knowledge of the retail sector would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to build credibility and trust among clients.
  • Proven ability to handle objections effectively and close deals.
  • A tenacious, driven individual who thrives in a challenging environment.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
