About Oxford Humanists

Oxford Humanists is a Local Group of Humanists UK that aims to provide a range of activities for non-religious people living in Oxford and the surrounding area.

Our group represents Humanists UK and the local humanist community at public events and in public forums. We are led by a team of volunteers who organise events and activities throughout the year.

We are seeking a dedicated Social Media Lead to join our Committee to assist in delivering the activities of Oxford Humanists.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an inclusive and effective online presence for our group, promoting our activities and values, and engaging with our members and supporters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about humanism and wants to make a difference in their community.

About the Role

This is a part-time role, estimated salary £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as experience in social media management.

The role will involve creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and analysing engagement metrics. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing a social media strategy that aligns with our group's objectives.
