Front Office Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at RBH Hospitality Management. As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Front of House Team to ensure that our guests receive an exceptional experience from check-in through to check-out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Front Office operation to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure effective communication, operating procedures, and training for the team.
  • Comply with Hampton by Hilton brand standards, health & safety, and fire requirements.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities within the Front of House.
  • Attend meetings and cascade relevant information to the team.
People Management:
  • Act as an ambassador for the hotel, company, and team members.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to all hotel departments.
  • Ensure team members comply with image standards, monitoring appearance, standards, and performance.
  • Conduct team performance reviews, coach, and support the Reception Team.
  • Identify Learning & Development opportunities within the team.
  • Recruitment and retention of the team to ensure quality team members are recruited, coached, and retained.
Profit:
  • Drive up-selling opportunities & revenue within the Front Office.
  • Supervise, motivate, and drive the Reception Team in achieving KPIs.
  • Maximise room occupancy and monitor room types and overbookings.
Training & Development:
  • Provide departmental induction for new team members.
  • Implement an initial training plan for new team members.
  • Provide a Personal Performance Plan for all staff in the department.
  • Assist with staff training and development.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience of leading and developing a team.
  • Good conflict management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexible and adaptable.

Key Attributes:

  • We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in Front Office Management.
