About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Laboratory Manager (Senior) Scientific Associate (Maternity Cover) at the Cancer Signalling and Therapeutics Laboratory, led by Group Leader Dr Pau Creixell, at the Cancer Research UK – Cambridge Institute (CRUK-CI).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scientific support and lab management, including experimental research within our lab's research programme.
  • Assist the group leader in laboratory administrative, housekeeping, and maintenance duties.
  • Manage the lab and provide technical assistance and guidance to PhD students, postdocs, and other lab members.
  • Utilize a broad range of techniques, including molecular cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, protein purification, and biochemistry.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a BSc, MSc, or PhD degree level qualification in a relevant field. Experience in any of the techniques mentioned above would be an advantage.
