Service Coordinator Role

The Service Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of services to our customers. This will involve effective resource allocation, management of drivers, and coordination with customer service teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage driver schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to address salesforce enquiries.
  • Plan and coordinate driver routes and schedules.
  • Generate necessary paperwork for drivers.
  • Manage driver holidays and arrange route cover.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, ordering replacement stock as needed.
  • Unloading of stock deliveries and organizing vehicle servicing and maintenance.
  • Manage vehicle breakdowns and arrange for vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Cover Service Administrators as needed.
  • Arrange permits for onsite contractors.
  • Monitor and control absence, ensuring timely completion of accident and incident forms.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Key Skills:
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reasonable knowledge of information technology, including Microsoft Excel and email.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic with a team player attitude.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPC Qualified, LGV Licence and ADR Licence.
