Quality Assurance Systems Coordinator

A reputable manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Assurance Systems Coordinator to enhance their operational team. This pivotal role will report directly to the Managing Director and will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Supervising the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) team and associated documentation
  • Enhancing the capabilities of the technical team and facilitating regular quality discussions
  • Verifying that products align with specifications and fulfill customer expectations
  • Ensuring adherence to BRC Global Standards and customer technical specifications
  • Conducting audits of process records for compliance and performance evaluation
  • Establishing and upholding quality benchmarks in collaboration with customers
  • Maintaining hygiene standards on-site and ensuring audit compliance
  • Assisting in the procurement process to uphold technical integrity
  • Monitoring and reviewing corrective actions related to customer feedback
  • Preparing documentation and processes for third-party evaluations
  • Meeting customer compliance system obligations

This position is full-time, operating Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours weekly. The compensation for this role is competitive. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a comparable position
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety protocols, HACCP, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), and food regulations
  • Experience in training Quality and Production teams
  • A background in team management
  • Familiarity with BRC and Major Retailer audits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
