About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to oversee and manage high-value contracts across residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful financial delivery of projects, managing commercial teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the financial and commercial aspects of high-value contracts, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
  2. Oversee commercial reporting, including preparing and submitting contractual notices, interim applications, and final accounts.
  3. Lead a commercial team, ensuring their alignment with company goals and successful delivery of projects.
  4. Ensure project compliance with all contractual, commercial, and legal requirements, safeguarding company interests and ensuring client satisfaction.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring consistent communication and successful negotiation of terms.
  6. Prepare material and subcontractor procurement plans, managing the valuation of works and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Attend regular commercial meetings to provide updates on contract-specific negotiations and overall project performance.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the facilities management, construction, or M&E sectors.
  2. Expertise in managing high-value contracts, with a background in residential, commercial, and leisure projects.
  3. Exceptional financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and final accounts management.
  4. Ability to lead and manage a commercial team to ensure the successful financial delivery of projects.
  5. Experience in preparing cash flows, cost reports, and analysis of project budgets, along with securing and managing contracts from conception to handover.
  6. A track record of delivering projects upwards of £10 million in value, with hands-on experience managing high-profile contracts.
