About Our Team
We are a dynamic and compassionate team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will join a team of dedicated professionals who share your commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients.
The ideal candidate will have a basic standard of education, including Maths and English, and a passion for making a positive difference in patients' lives. You will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of patient care, including washing and dressing, serving meals, and monitoring patients' conditions. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team will make you an invaluable asset to our trust.
Salary: £21,000 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with serving meals and feeding patients, reporting intake and recording charts as required
- Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight
- Assist with mobilisation, ensuring a safe environment and using appropriate techniques
- Communicate effectively with patients and their relatives
- Ensure the ward/department is kept clean, tidy, and safe
