  • Lead Data Research and Services: Provide strategic direction for long-term curation and enhancement of data and research assets, driving innovation and delivery of integrated data services, tools, and governance.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 15+ staff, focusing on staff development, project planning, and delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong partnerships, creating a cohesive network of data services, tools, and governance aligned with research priorities and user needs.
  • Collaboration and Co-Design: Promote co-design processes, leading training initiatives, and collaborating with the research community, NERC, and other stakeholders.

Requirements: A good degree in an appropriate subject, PhD or equivalent experience, substantial experience in leading data research and services, strategic insight into data requirements, and commitment to professional development.
